Maharashtra mandal Chicago.

2010 MF held its annual award ceremony at Balgandharva
Rangmandir, pune. The awards are given for outstanding performance in the
field of literature and social work. Click here for details
April 12, 2008 The Annual MF Day The Annual MF
event was held on 12th April 2008. This year the format of the program was
a bit diifferent. Instead of active fundraising MF presented two
entertainment programs. 'Sur Pashchimeche' produced by Mohan Ranade and an
ekankika 'Tax Free' by Dr. Meena Nerurkar. More than 350 donors attended
the function. As is the MF tradition, we distributed 'pedha' and
informatiove brochure on MF's work in India. The function started with
Ashish Chaugule's welcoming note and introducing. Sunita Dhumale -
president of the MF. Sunita briefed the audience on her visit to India and
various projects she visited. She urged people to get involved and
encouraged them to visit MF sponsored projects during their family visits
to India. The donors enjoyed the snack break followed by the ekakika. MF
reached a few people who were eager to come forth to volunteer their time
for MF.

Prakash & Manda Amte on August 11 at 10:30 AM at Marathi Vishwa

Annual Fundraising Day- November 4,
2006
The Annual Fundraising event was held on 4th
November , 2006 . More than 200 donors attended the function. The function
started with the national anthems of India and United States. Sunita
Dhumale - president of the MF welcome the attendees. This years' guests
included Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, Mr. Kumar Ketkar and Ms Sonali Kulkarni.
They presented Moot Court where Dr. Dabholkar presented his stand on
Andhashraddha Nirmoolan work that he has been conducting for past several
years. He was presented with the award for "social worker of the decade".
Dr. Dicksheet was honored for his extra ordinary services he renders in
India. As in the past years, MF sponsored projects were presented by the
young members of the community. The donors enjoyed the cocktail hour.
Fundraising and dinner followed. The evening ended with the promise of
committment in the future years!
